Helping professionals and leaders are everywhere, ready to serve at any time, and yet are often underappreciated, underpaid, and undervalued. A goal of this course is for you to begin to put yourself first, prioritize your needs, and become educated about the very real threats to you and your compassionate heart in these fields.

This world needs you to be healthy, strong, focused, and empathetic in order to provide the highest quality of care to the people you serve. You may be walking through a dark season right now but don’t stop! Keep walking. You don’t have to live there. There is light ahead. The journey will be tough for some of you and easier for others, but that’s why I am a firm believer that we can help carry each other’s burdens and pick each other up when we have a fall.
